The show opening last Friday night was great. I had such a good experience being on campus, talking with students, and putting the show together. These are a few of the new pieces I did for the show. I’m pretty sure this first one is my new favorite. The background is a mix of IKEA fabric and some of my grandmother’s fabric I’ve been using in my paintings the last few years.

And I did a couple works on paper. I actually got my brushes and tubes of paint out. I haven’t used a brush in over 4 years. It felt so good to sit there with my glass palette, mix color, and just play in the studio.
