Valentino

Jen has raved to me about the beauty of the documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor . She said it was a must see and she was so right. This weekend I was working on some art projects and put on the Valentino film from my Netflix stream.
The documentary takes a behind the scenes look at the last 2 years in the career of Valentino. It was wonderful to watch him work…to see him sketch and his eye for the most amazing details in Haute Couture fashion. Just to watch the film and see the look of it was inspiring. But what I didn’t expect was the story the film told of the near 50 year partnership between Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti. It was beautiful and extraordinary!
