Jen and I both have some way talented friends, especially in the wedding biz. I wanted to share the work of one of my very good and way talented friends Stacie. She is a hard lady to keep up with, travelling all over the metroplex and across the country photographing weddings. She and her husband Darek make an amazing husband and wife team. R and I were lucky enough to have Stacie photograph our wedding back in 2005. She captured our day in the most beautiful way. In the craziness of enjoying my wedding there was so much I missed that Stacie was able to capture through her lens. Check out more of her work on her blog.
A few months ago Stacie was experimenting with some night lighting and used R and I as “models.” I’m not the kind of girl who is comfortable in front of camera. But with Stacie and Darek, its always fun! We had such a great night walking around old downtown Plano. And since R and I never had engagement photos taken, we were excited to take these photos around the time of our 4th anniversary. Thanks Stacie, you are awesome as always! You even make an awkward girl look good!
This one is my favorite! We’re in the gazebo where R serenaded me the day he propsed. I think we look like a little cake topper.
