Saturday Art Part 2: Deep Ellum/Fair Park
By Sarah | September 11, 2009
After leaving the Design District area I’ll be headed straight to Deep Ellum to check out Jen’s mural. I think it is just so cool that she created something public and outdoors. I love it when art moves out of the gallery. Go Jen!
Then I’ll head toward Fair Park and stop by Central Trak and 500X Gallery for their season opener. Central Trak is presenting the work of Peter Barrickman, Mary Benedicto, and Keri Oldham from 6-8pm.

Also, Lisa Nersesova is showing work at Central Trak in Unit 5.

The opening at 500X will be going from 7-10pm. The Main Gallery is where Leslie Robertson and Aqsa Shakil will be showing. Also there will be a show in the project space as well as all the members of the gallery showing upstairs. Check out the great artist roster. I know I’m biased, but 500X is always my favorite gallery in Dallas! Check out Leslie’s work below.

Get out, see some art Saturday night and fall a little more in love Dallas!
