Saturday Art Part 1: Design District
By Sarah | September 9, 2009
This Saturday night has got me worked up for an excellent gallery night in Dallas. So many great openings are going on. I’ve missed making the gallery rounds, and its time to get out! My first stop is going to be the Design District area where I’m anxiously waiting for the opening of Howard Sherman’s show at Pan American Art Projects. Howard and I were in grad school together at UNT and I can’t wait to see his new work. He is such a strong and bold painter. I’m sure he’ll have well deserved rave reviews. So much energy….

I’m also looking forwrad to seeing the work of Sarah Williams, recent MFA grad from UNT, at Marty Walker Gallery. I’ve never seen her work before, but a freind has told me that her paintings are amazing and I would love them. Seems like they have such a lovely eariness…..
For the love of paint get out to see both openings this Saturday, Septmeber 12th, from 6-8pm.
