Style Station
By Sarah | September 1, 2009
The best part of my Austin adventure was a trip to the Style Station. My co-workers had read about it in Lucky and said we had to stop. I was skeptical. I’ve made the drive to Austin/San Antonio more times than I can count and never seen a vintage store on the side of I-35 in the middle of nowhere. Sure enough, there it was just North of Waco. When we drove up I had a feeling that this place was going to be the best surprise.

Let me just say, WOW…loved the Style Station. The owner was so helpful. The store was full of western wear, boots, accessories, and all kinds of men and women’s vintage apparel. I even found a cool patterned fabric suitcase. I can not say enough good things about the Style Station. It makes Texas feel right.
I will never make a drive down I-35 again without a stop at the Style Station: 17625 N I H 35, West, TX . That’s right, West. As in, The Czech Stop. As in, the best kolaches you’ll ever have in your life. I had 6, cherry cream cheese and lemon cream cheese, now that’s right!
